[01]FAQ

The part where you push back.

The objections we hear most, answered the way we would answer them on a call. If yours is not here, ask it on the demo.

Do we have to buy all four?

No. Most MSPs start with one, usually Desk on the technician side or Secretary on the owner side, and add the others once it’s earning its keep. They share one connection to your PSA, so adding the second is a setting, not another rollout.

What if it gets something wrong?

Nothing is sent, assigned, or closed until one of your people okays it. You choose what Stratascout can do on its own and what it has to run by a person first, then loosen that as you trust it. A mistake is a draft you fix in one click, not a ticket lost in the wrong place.

We’ve tried AI tools before.

So have a lot of MSPs, and most of those tools couldn’t do half of what the demo promised. Stratascout works inside the PSA you already use and does the real work: sorts the ticket, matches the client, sets type and priority, writes it up, and answers your questions from live data. If it doesn’t hold up, you’ll know in the first week.

How fast can we be up and running?

A kickoff call, connect your PSA, and Stratascout starts working the same week. No six-month rollout, no setup fee, no data to prep, and no one to babysit it.

Why not just hire another person?

You could. But that person spends their day on the same busywork your techs already lose hours to, and they still can’t tell you at 9pm on a Saturday what your margin looks like. Stratascout handles both for a fraction of a salary, and it works nights and weekends without overtime.

We could probably build this ourselves.

You could build the first version. Most MSP owners are technical enough, and a prototype that reads a mailbox and drafts a reply is a weekend. The build has never been the hard part. The year after is: the PSA changes its API, a client’s mail flow shifts, the model you built on gets deprecated, and it starts guessing on the fifty ticket shapes your prototype never saw. Now it isn’t a project, it’s a system your delivery depends on, and someone on your team owns it forever. That is the real question: are you running an MSP or a software company? Every hour your best person spends maintaining internal tooling is an hour they aren’t spending on the clients who pay you.

Isn’t this just replacing our techs?

It’s the opposite, and the design makes that literal: Stratascout can’t send, assign, or close anything without one of your people. It removes the admin around the work so the same team can carry more of it. MSPs use it to take on more clients with the headcount they have, not to shrink the headcount.

Still not convinced? Good.

Bring the question we did not answer here. We would rather lose the call than win it on something that does not hold up.
